Secom continues its evolution

Secom ended 2019 with a turnover of more than EUR 25.5 million, up 21% versus the previous year, investments of over EUR 3.3 million and a team of 190 people. Bucharest, 12 February 2020 - Secom®, a Romanian company with 16 years of experience in importing, promoting and marketing natural healthcare and beauty products, invested EUR 3.3 million in 2019 and continued its expansion, reaching a turnover of more than EUR 25.5 million, up 21% vs. the previous year, and a team of 190 people across the country. The main investments in 2019 focused on expanding the portfolio with a series of innovations, on developing the team by attracting new talents and improving functional and managerial skills. The company also continued to invest in marketing and new digital capabilities. 2019 saw the addition of new products to the company’s portfolio in the following segments: probiotics (Jarro Dophilus Ultra, Jarro Dophilus Infant and Jarro Dophilus Mood), multivitamins and minerals (Alive! Ultra), minerals-calcium (Alive Calcium + D3), and the ChildLife range of pediatric products (Hepato-Care). Last year, Secom also expanded its cosmetics portfolio by introducing a range for men, Andalou Men, and the CannaCell® range under the Andalou Naturals brand. The latest products stand out on the local market due to an innovative combination of scientifically substantiated ingredients, a high concentration of good bacteria and a novel encapsulation form that integrates the good bacteria in a gel-forming matrix, that is resistant to gastric acid - in the case of probiotics, as well as due to the easy administration formats. “2019 was a very good year for Secom, as we laid a solid foundation for the sustainable growth of the company.
